Member Stories Ep. 1
Sally-Ann
“I am physically fitter, healthier & feel more inspired to get out & about & do things”
An absolutely delighted Sal with her Curves Smart® results, showing she has hit her targets for each muscle worked on our machines 💚
Sal joined us in June 2025 with a very clear goal to take control of her health and her wellbeing. She had exercised before and even has an exercise to music qualification but she was ready to place herself in our hands and boy did she!
We worked with her to ensure she understood exactly how each machine benefitted her, adjusted her technique so she would get useful feedback from her Curves Smart® data and ensured she was working at the correct intensity to achieve the Strength Training she had set goals around.

Natalie
“Over the past year, I’ve become so much stronger, both physically and mentally.”
Nat is rightfully pleased with the Strength she has built and has the biceps to prove it! 💪
Nat joined us in May 2025 with a goal of improving her health to reduce pain in her body, and to improve her stamina and fitness; she wanted to be able to walk uphill without getting out of breath. Not much to ask when you are only 38, but Nat has a high pressure, sedentary job. She has struggled with her weight in the past, and put her body under more stress with crash diets (we get it!).
Nat thought she needed discipline, but what she needed was people on her team (other than her amazingly supportive husband) to support her workout efforts so she could break the starting something and then giving up. She needed help to build a habit of exercise and experience the difference consistent workouts would make to her health, her self-esteem and her emotional well-being.
Nat says ‘I’ve always struggled with sticking to things long-term, so even my husband is surprised that I’ve kept this up for a whole year but that says everything about how much I genuinely enjoy going. Even on days when my motivation is low, I always feel so much better after I’ve been. What I love most is how welcoming and supportive it is. They’ve helped me build confidence in ways I never thought possible and shown me that it’s not all about the number on the scales or about perfection.
Over the past year, I’ve become so much stronger, both physically and mentally. For the first time in years, I’ve actually worn shorts again because my confidence has grown so much.’
