Did you hate that part of you?

Coach Sall

Quote taken from a book: did you hate that part of you before someone told you you should

I came across this quote on social media the other day and I thought to myself, I have to share this

I want you to give these words some hard thought over the weekend.

Hate might be too strong a word for you, but please don’t get stuck on that.

This has the potential to be a lightbulb moment for you, as you realise that any bit of you that you might hate, dislike, want to change or like the least, is as beautiful as the rest of you.
And if that body part was on another person, that’s what you would say about it.
How we see ourselves, is not how others see us. Often how we see ourselves is based on feedback from the outside world, and most of that feedback is lies, or at least, what we notice or believe!
Sometimes it’s based simply on the fact we have a weird “view from the top” as we literally look at ourselves from an angle no one else does!
Whatever your past experience, whatever you are thinking about yourself right now, give these words some thought and…
Please be sure to share them with the other women in your world.
We must change how we see OURSELVES so we can change how women see themselves until all women and girls think more and talk more about our health and our wellbeing, than our size or how we look.
