Check in with your attitude!
I thought this weekend would be a great to check in with you.
I really want to know how you are doing?
You see, we’ve actually had record numbers of workouts in the gym this week, and that’s just incredible. Because for a long time I’ve made it my mission to keep everyone working out right through December.
(If you’re one of the 200 that came in the last week, or one of the new members who joined us in the last few weeks when all around are “just waiting until January” – celebrate yourself and your attitude, because you did it.)
When I first came into this business, I was shocked by just how dramatically workout numbers dropped as members became distracted by what was going on around them.
That’s how the “12 Workouts ‘til Christmas” challenge evolved, and then was shortly followed by In-Betweeners for the days in-between Christmas and New Year.
As of writing (Saturday 16th December) there are 10 opportunities to workout between now, and when we reopen on 2nd January 2024.
10 opportunities to reset your mind, relieve stress, recharge, renergise, build confidence, raise self-esteem, build trust in yourself and meet your commitment to your health and wellbeing.
And maybe there are reasons beyond your control that mean you can’t come for a single one of those 10 opportunities.
Or maybe that’s just what you’re telling yourself.
So, here I am checking in with you and your attitude.
Because you don’t need an attitude of motivation, you need an attitude of if I do it, then I will feel like it.
You don’t need the attitude of my needs must come first, you need the attitude of this is important to me.
You don’t need the attitude of all or nothing, you need the attitude of I will do what I can with what I have.
You don’t need the attitude of if I’m going to do it then I’m going to do it well, you need the attitude just do 1.
Without exception, every woman leaves feeling better than she arrived. The immediate and noticeable benefits of working out definitely aren’t on the scale or a dress size.
They’re in your head, and that’s the best reason to take even just one of those 10 opportunities to walk in the door.
Even just one.
Thumbs up if you love Curves!
