Dosha Guide from Isabel

Coach Sall

We are often busy thinking about what we want to become but one of the most life changing and powerful processes we can go through is really getting to know ourselves.

Many of our thoughts, habits and behaviours come from our culture, our conditioning and habits developed from external influences.

A great question to ask yourself is why do I do (think/feel) the things I do – because if you can start to figure that out, you can set better goals, understand how you feel about the actions required, work out better paths to take and ultimately stop beating yourself up if there’s things you are not doing because you have some inner resistance to them.

Energy levels are a great place to start – and I’m not really talking about whether you are tired, overwhelmed or raring to go in the morning. I’m talking about how you interact with and move through the world.

In Ayurvedic medicine the body’s energy systems are referred to as “doshas” and getting to know your dosha could give you some answers, especially if you have health and wellbeing “mysteries” that you have struggled to resolve.

The wonderful Isabel of While I Breathe, and the Luna Shala (and long-time friend of Curves Ilkeston) has created a fantastic free mini guide so you can find out about your “Dosha”. There’s a short questionnaire, information about each dosha and tips to balance yours.

If you want to know more afterwards, I highly recommend you reach out to her or sign up for her free introductory sessions that start in January! All the details are in the guide so click the button below to get your copy and take a quite half hour over the next week or so to discover your dosha.
