Focus on the machine that you are on

I can change your workout with just 7 words. 
It's so simple, you'll likely read this and then just forget about it. 
But seriously, don't! 
You want results - your results lie in feeling the benefit of the machines, that is FEELING the muscles working. 

The greater the muscle contraction, the faster we will be able to move the machines and so the greater improvement in our Strength – but how do we improve our muscle contraction? 

Our bodies will only do what we tell it to do – surprise! You are in control of the quality of your workout, and the results you get from it. What we tend to do is think about the bigger picture, “I need to work hard, I need to move the machine faster, I need to get green”. 

So, back to the 7 words; Focus on the machine you are on. 


Sounds simple right? Try it and see.  

Catch yourself thinking about the next machine, or the machine across the circuit that you don't like or find difficult - bring your thoughts back to the machine you are on. 

It will take practice, you won’t always manage it, but when you do, I guarantee you will FEEL the benefits more and see better results in the long term.
