Connecting the dots X Factors to C&A

Coach Sall

Did you see my “weekly roundup” video I posted this week?
It might really help you so if you missed it or you’re not on the socials you can WATCH IT HERE

Why? Well, in it I connect the dots for you between your X-factor, your goals and your monthly Coaching & Accountability sessions with your Coach.
You see, the most important part of Coaching & Accountability is not the getting on the scales part.
It doesn’t seem to matter how much we say that the scales are not important, we still have too many of you (it might not be you) in fear of getting your quality time with a Coach, or feel like it’s not worth it if you haven’t lost weight (Coach Dannii is crying quietly in the corner right now).

We’re trying to change a culture here at Curves Ilkeston, to make exercise (especially Strength Training) not about how much you weigh or about what you look like. As often happens when you want to push back about something that has been universally accepted as correct you feel like you have to push hard and for a very long time before you see things change. (Btw you can expect some BIG changes for Coaching & Accountability coming soon!)
Once you connect your short-term goals to your X-factor you get really clear how your actions today have an impact on the future you can’t see. Once you see that, you understand how important it is to make ACTION-BASED goals each month.
When you start doing that, you experience the increased and sustained motivation that comes from celebrating your achievements, i.e. completing your action-based goals each month. Then you also experience the insignificance of the number on the scale!
It works I promise you. Coaching & Accountability starts Monday 2nd June – if you haven’t properly pinned down your X-factor yet you can find all you need right here, and your Coaches are ready to help you with it next week.

P.S If you need some inspiration for why you would exercise if it isn't to lose weight here's the link to the podcast episode Coach Dannii and I recorded about it (it's one of our most listened to episodes!); https://pod.fo/e/21ab77

P.P.S And if you want to know why we still do weigh people, have a listen to our podcast on body composition, it might just change how you think about that number on the scales. Here's the link; https://pod.fo/e/22f942
